Jaime Sánchez
Jaime Sánchez (born December 19, 1938, Rincón, Puerto Rico) is a stage, film and television actor, active since the 1950s. His film roles include Sidney Lumet's The Pawnbroker (1964), Cornel Wilde's Beach Red (1967) and Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch (1969); his TV appearances include The Fugitive, Kojak and The Equalizer. Sanchez, appearing as Jamie Sanchez, began his career on Broadway at the age of 18 in 1957, when he played Chino in the original cast of West Side Story. He also appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions, including an appearance as Marc Antony in Joseph Papp's 1979 production of Julius Caesar. In 2002, he received the HOLA Lifetime Achievement Award from the Hispanic Organization of Latin Actors (HOLA).
