Seo Ji-seok

Seo Ji-seok (Hangul: 서지석; or spelled Suh Ji-suk; born 9 September 1981) is a South Korean actor. He is well known for his role Park Yoon-hoo in KBS 1TV 167-episode daily drama Pure in Heart, aka Pure 19, broadcast from 22 May 2006 to 12 January 2007. In middle school, he was an athlete specialised in 100m-200m short distance running. He won four gold medals in a variety of sports when he was 16 years old and was selected to prepare for the national team. In 1999, he was hit by a vehicle while he was crossing the street. He was hospitalised for 6 months for medical treatments. Then, he was talent spotted on the street as the manager liked his refined appearance. Hence choose acting as his career. Seo appeared in two films directed by the renowned South Korean movie director Kim Ki Duk. In the first one The Bow, he played a college student involved in a mysterious and dangerous relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. The grandfather kidnapped the girl 10 years ago when she was 7 years old. He appeared in the second movie Time as a guest star. He also participated in the movie May I Cry? in 2006. Seo enlisted for his mandatory military service on 5/29/2007.
