Tom Schilling

Tom Schilling (born 10 February 1982) is a German television and film actor. Schilling had his acting debut in the 1996 drama Hallo, Onkel Doc! as a boy named Mark. In the critically well-received film Before the Fall (2004), he played a young student in one of the elite 'Napola' schools, alongside with Max Riemelt. His latest character is Adolf Hitler in Urs Odermatts Mein Kampf (2009). At the age of 12, he was discovered by stage director Thomas Heise in school. In 2006, he got a scholarship for the Lee Strasberg Academy in New York. He studied there for half a year. He originally wanted to become a painter and study art after school.
