A Blooming Business2009
It's time to wake up and smell the imported roses. On the shores of lake Naivasha in Kenya, flower farms have enslaved the locals, poisoned the fish and dried out the land. As we follow the lives of a few brave flower workers, the true cost of the world flower industry unfolds.

Excellent film. Real, not overly sentimental. The stories of the individuals speak for themselves.
It's difficult to look at the bright and beautiful flowers at Fry's the same way now.

Good movie. Shows how 3rd world is used and abused. Why companies go elsewhere to have business because no protections for workers and nature. Such strong people trying to get basic food for children and have so little. Once again how women are abused.
