I love a good pirate caper. Throw in buried treasure and some intense swashbuckling and you've got yourself an entertaining motion picture. The action and adventure keep you involved from beginning to end. The casting is excellent with Charles Laughton as the rotund but devious and motivated Captain Kidd. Randolph Scott is a very convincing avenger. Reginald Owen (from A Christmas Carol) is as likable and loyal a character as you will ever find. The truth comes out in the end and justice is served.

Sound too weak to listen to. Good movie otherwise. Watched very little.
Now that was a real classic.
