In all the endeavors, in all this world, in all things done, there is pain. Many of us fear it, run from it, abuse ourselves with drugs, etc., to keep it from us. There are those among us who understand it. They understand that pain gets in the way of certain things we do. And they accept it. They accept it because those things they do are things they love to do, things they dream of doing, things they refuse to give up doing. Not everyone can or will understand this. Some will mock, laugh at or even become angry, because they don't understand. "Fake It So Real" is a film filled with people, real people, doing something that those "outside the know" cannot possibly understand. They bleed, they break, they cry, they show emotion, fear, anxiety, sadness and pain, real pain. Not fake pain. They show us how anticipated failure can be turned into outright success. They show us how what we may see as minor triumphs are truly major victories, a building block, a cornerstone laid solid to give footing to a young man's dreams. They take a storm of chaos and twist it into a sweet, sweaty, bloody breeze. They are real people in world surrounded by falsehoods. They are real, as real as they can make themselves. "Fake It So Real" can be their motto, one they can be proud of. Because there are so many more of us out here who simply fake it... and never make it to the real.

Entertaining yet depressing look at the "garage band" side of independent wrestling. If your a pro wrestling fan, you will enjoy.
