An incredibly visceral film. Lika Babluani does a masterful job as Eka, a young girl who has to grow up too fast. I love the way that the film avoids sentimentalizing the hardships of the characters and instead lets them be as bold and vivid as any Hollywood character. Outstanding performances from all the actors in this production! 5 stars!

A poignant look at the life of young girls amidst a life where they have to grow up far younger than what most of us would want for our children. My daughter was an orphan from Romania and we've spent some time with her extended foster family that provided her foster care in a city that feels more like Tsiblisi than does Tulsa or San Diego. I'm glad our daughter has more options than Natia.
There are moments of beauty and moments of sadness. All in all, a good story well told.
Brilliant, this is filming at it's absolute finest, taking the viewer to a new world, exposing life from a part of the world rarely ever brought to the screen, and done so with real finesse.
A sad journey. It makes me so glad I grew up here. These poor people have so little and look for any passport out of the crap. Hard to watch, but only because it was so believable.
love it love Eka love Natia_they are both always wonderful_beautiful film
flawless and not trapped in the pity of an outsider. 11/10 film.
Outstanding performances of all the actors... raw, real, exactly showing what the life was like in post soviet countries after the break up. I doubt that many westerners will understand its depth, judging by the reviews, but this is one of the best movies I have seen on that articular era..
This is a very good film. The film was a little slow to develop at first. The longer scenes give the opportunity to provide a realistic portrayal of life. The acting was excellent. I also enjoyed the scenes from the wedding and the dance by the lead character.
Good enough to watch.
Very moving film about violence and marital dynamics. The nuances captured from teenhood and dinner tables is incredible!
beautiful!
