  • 4.0
A brief portrait of Zygmunt Samosiuk, a great forgotten Polish cinematographer who died in 1983, leaving behind a tremendous body of work in Polish cinema (such as THE BIRCH WOOD, LANDSCAPE AFTER THE BATTLE and AUSTERIA). Among his amazing accomplishments, he introduced novelties like hand-held camera shots, using colored lights and shooting at minimum exposure. The documentary is composed of memories from his colleagues and friends, including Andrzej Wajda and Piotr Szulkin, who remember Samosiuk's passion for cinema and celebrate his extraordinary legacy. - Stela Jelincic
