Ummm... I disagree! It has a slow narrative style but provides immense feeling. I loved it - captures a specific time and place in a young persons life perfectly. Plus, the performances from the young actors are undeniably fantastic - natural, vulnerable, truthful and beautiful. Side note: is the soundtrack available for sale?

Made me wish i was 12 again
Some beautiful moments. Specifically the scenes where the music each tween is listening to fades in and out as they play with ear buds to talk to each other was particularly inventive and enjoyable to experience. The movie feels like Northern Ontario, no doubt about that. A little bleak and empty.
very boring..no point
