Devilish Tom Latham and his gang of shaggy-haired, delinquent Death Wheelers have come back from the grave--AGAIN! This Aleister Crowley-on-Wheels tale of black magic meets black leather is a hip, anti-establishment horror-comedy that captures the mood of swinging England, 1972. Nicky Henson's brutish charm and swagger, classic British racing bikes, John Cameron’s fuzzed out soundtrack, inspired stunt work, baby-faced bikers who look like members of Badfinger, and the final film appearance of the elegantly sinister George Saunders. It’s all a darkly sweet treat, like black leather licorice.

A British bike gang called "The Living Dead" literally become that when their leader uses magic to raise them from the dead after they kill themselves. They acquire dangerous powers and go on a rampage. I understand what they were trying for here, but not even the presence of George Sanders can save this slow, dreary flick.
So the moral of the story here is don't commit suicide when your mother practices magick or you'll turn into a stone. Cool 70's biker flick, fun watch.
At times slow-moving, nonsensical and vicious, but punctuated with enough fun to keep the viewer interested. Impressive stunts and practical effects are a pleasant surprise; one chase scene in particular wows, and you wonder how exactly no one died while shooting. A good October movie with the tone of a manic Harold and Maude.
It is more like a Teenage Vampire movie than a zombie film. They become invincible and there for go a rampage not worrying about the consequences. It's dated but kinda fun. Sort of symbolic of the rebellious 60's youth who longed for Anarchy.
classic
Worst 'biker' or 'zombie' film I've seen.
Stunning.
