A terrific giallo! Very moody and with some great set pieces, but without the sleaze of many of the crime/horror films of the genre and era. The soundtrack is tremendous...very Goblin-esque.

Giallo fun for the whole family! Watch Me When I Kill is an interesting little footnote in the history of giallo cinema, lacking the brutal violence and bright, in-your-face color palettes of the more well-known gialli, but wearing their influence on its sleeve all the same. In fact this movie in some ways outwardly rejects a few of the more traditional tropes of the genre (note the blatantly latex gloves) while still embracing the more wholesome ones, such as the brilliant soundtrack. To me, Il Gatto Dagli Occhi Di Giada, while not a perfect film is none-the-less very fun and reminiscent most immediately of some lost PG-rated Argento film. Think Profondo Rosso without the violence or supernatural trappings and you're three quarters of the way there already. 3 1/2 stars.
This first review of this film is spot on, ignore the negative ones. If you're a fan of the giallo genre, you will like this. I did !
