This is an old popcorn serial about a rocket man called Zombies of the Stratosphere. What else do you need to know?
What...? Need more! Okay, it also has a young Leonard Nimoy playing a martian.

One of the greatest titles of all-time, but unfortunately matinee magic of the great Republic serials of the 30's and 40's is just about tapped out here. The ol' slam-bang formula Republic used to enthrall a generation of kids at the Saturday Matinee seems pretty thin and tired by the 50's. Still, it's worth it see a see a young actor named Nimoy playing his first alien, and stellar model work by unsung Hollywood special effects wizards, the Lydecker Brothers.
This is the best! I LOVE this serial! A rocket backpack that doesn't burn your feet off.
Flying through the air, going up and down with the twist of a dial. Nothing could be better. Wow, this is great. I wanted one of those rocket backpacks so bad when I was a kid. And for those too young to remember watching these on Saturday mornings, this one has a "drive-by audition" by Leonard Nimoy, as an evil Martian henchman, for his future role as Mr. Spock on Star Trek. So get a cup of coffee and sitback and let your rocket backpack fly you away. You can't miss with this one.
